Pr. Luke Nottage is a leading authority in consumer law, with a particular interest in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition to his role as Senior Fellow at the Melbourne Law School, he is Professor of Comparative and Transnational Business Law at Sydney Law School and founding Co-Director of the Australian Network for Japanese Law, Associate Director of the Centre for Asian and Pacific Law at the University of Sydney (CAPLUS) and a founding Board member of the Sydney Southeast Asia Centre.
Pr. Nottage has published over a hundred refereed articles and book chapters. His 12 books include Independent Directors in Asia (Cambridge University Press, in press, co-edited with Harald Baum, Souichirou Kozuka and Dan Puchniak), ASEAN Product Liability and Consumer Product Safety Law (Winyuchon, 2016, co-edited with Sakda Thanitcul), Asia-Pacific Disaster Management (Springer, 2014, co-edited with Simon Butt and Hitoshi Nasu), Consumer Law and Policy in Australia and New Zealand (Federation Press, 2013, co-edited with Justin Malbon), and Product Safety and Liability Law in Japan (Routledge, 2004).
